Our Story

MEET FOUNDER & OWNER
The Cave Bar & Lounge caps a 20-year journey for establishment owner Derek Amaya AKA Dj. Cale Known best around town for bringing a Latin Flare to past nightspots in Downtown Columbus. He made his trademark with heavyweight artists and became the main attraction in Festival Latino hosted by CAPA. Derek Amaya is humble and honored to continue sharing his heartfelt sense for Latin culture and passion for music in Central Ohio. We hope for the support of the city of Columbus and look forward to seeing everyone at The Cave.
